Execution of search warrant leads to arrest of Rome man on multiple charges

A Rome man was arrested at his Wadsworth Street home Tuesday on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

46-year-old Derricus Anshone Haselrig was found with multiple bags of crack cocaine, digital scales, and packaging materials during the execution of a search warrant.

He is charged with possession of cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug-related objects.

Jail records indicate that Haselrig was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, aggravated cruelty to animals, and possession of marijuana.

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Heard Street Tuesday and recovered multiple baggies of crack cocaine.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

51-year-old Ray Jones of a Calhoun Avenue address in Rome was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, and possession with the intent to distribute.
