Events to celebrate the Christmas season in Lindale get underway on Saturday.
A free Christmas festival will be held at Gilbert Park from 1 until 5 p.m. and will feature food, arts and crafts, and much more.
Then the Christmas parade will begin at 5:30 PM.
The lineup will start at Pepperell primary school at 5 p.m. and everyone is invited to participate.
Be sure to bring a toy for a deserving kid and the Pepper schools.
Christmas events in Lindale will continue throughout next week.

On Tuesday, December 9, a Christmas Trolley Ride will be offered at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $20, and all proceeds go to benefit Restoration Lindale.

Then on Friday, December 12, kids can have their photos made with Santa for free.
Selfies with Santa will take place at the Lindale Train Platform from 5 to 7 p.m.
Free hot chocolate and cookies will be available for every kid who visits.
