Staff Reports –

The Floyd County Sheriff’s office reported that deputies were able to locate and arrest one of Floyd County’s Top 10 Most Wanted, 32-year-old Dorian Johnson on Tuesday night.

Deputies received an anonymous tip that Johnson was located at an address on Wood Creek Way.

Johnson attempted to run from deputies serving a criminal warrant but was apprehended after a short foot chase.

Johnson was taken into custody on his initial charges:

• Kidnapping
• Aggravated stalking
• Simple battery
• Criminal trespass
• Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle
• Operation of an unregistered vehicle
• Obstruction of law enforcement

Jail reports indicated that Johnson also received more charges during the arrest:

• Felony possession of cocaine
• Felony possession of ecstasy
• Obstruction of law enforcement

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office recognized Corporal Wright, Deputy Bowerman, & Deputy Jolly for their actions and planning to facilitate the arrest.
