A Rome man has been arrested on multiple counts of entering an automobile, theft by taking, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

According to Floyd County Jail records and arrest warrants:

20-year-old Alijah Dasean Thompson and another person entered unlocked vehicles on North Terrace Avenue, Tassle Drive, South Central Avenue, Flora Avenue, Longbrook Court, Brooke Court, and Eden Valley Road on March 5.

Several firearms were stolen from the vehicles along with other items including wallets, a purse, a letter jacket, loose change, and sunglasses.
