A 42-year-old Rome man is in jail after a Floyd County Grand Jury returned an indictment against him on a felony charge of rape.

According to records at the Floyd County Jail, the indictment was handed down during the Grand Jury’s January term.

Gabriel Kendell Ragland remains in custody with no bond.
