Gordon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a ‘shots fired” call at around 10 p.m. at a residence on Meadowlark Lane near Dews Pond Friday.

According to the sheriff’s office:

Deputies were close by and stopped the cars believed to have been involved within minutes of the shooting.

At this time no one has been found to have been struck by gunfire.

Everyone believed to have been involved has been apprehended, and the weapon believed to have been used has been recovered.

No one is at large and the investigation is ongoing.
