More than $400 in ice cream was reported stolen from a Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation concession stand sometime between the evening hours of July 4 and the early morning hours of July 5.
According to a Rome Police Department report:
A maintenance employee discovered that the door to the concession stands at Heritage Park had been pried open and damaged.
The ice cream, which is an off-brand similar to Dippin’ Dots, was valued at $426.
The estimated damage to the door was listed at $500.
