An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect in a murder at the Callier Forest apartment complex on Dodd Boulevard back on June 27.

33-year-old Floydell Quinchard Smith is being sought for murder in the shooting death of 30-year-old Te’Vian Markez Williams Sr.

According to Rome Police:

Williams had been shot in the upper leg/groin area and was bleeding heavily when officers arrived on the scene.

Police rendered aid to Williams until Emergency Medical Services arrived.

Williams was transported to Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
