The Rome-Floyd County Planning Commission will consider a special use permit for a recreational/sporting clays facility when it meets Thursday afternoon.

The property where the facility would be located is on Bailey Road between Silver Creek and Taylorsville.

The planning commission will also consider a special use permit for duplexes at 9 Ross Street and 15 Ross Street during the meeting which starts at 2:30 p.m. in the Sam King Room at Rome City Hall.

Other agenda items include:

-A rezoning request for the property at 0 Addington Court and 1 B Addington Court from Light Industrial to Suburban Residential along with a special use permit for a manufactured home.

-A rezoning request for 1120 East Second Avenue from Community Commercial to High-Density Traditional Residential.

-A rezoning request for 2524 North Broad Street and 0 North Broad Street from High-Density Traditional Residential and Suburban Residential to Multifamily Residential.
