A 61-year-old Adairsville woman was arrested late last week on charges of false imprisonment, battery, and obstructing a person from making a 911 call.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Brenda Ann Hornbuckle confined a 40-year-old man by not letting him leave his apartment on East Second Avenue.
She also slammed the victim’s head into a door frame, causing a laceration above the man’s eye.
Hornbuckle is also accused of taking the victim’s phone as he tried to call 911.
