The Floyd County Board of Education is expected to have a discussion with Tax Commissioner Kevin Payne and Chief Appraiser Danny Womack regarding the tax rate during a called meeting Monday.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the school system’s central office on Riverside Parkway.

Other agenda items include the amended budget for 2023 and the proposed budget for 2024, as well as personnel changes.

The board will also go into executive session.
