A large crowd gathered at the Rome Civic Center on Thursday for the “We Care Veterans Fair” hosted by the City of Rome and United Military Care.

Over 60 organizations were at the event providing free products and services for local veterans, their families, and caretakers.

Veterans could sign up for VA benefits and submit claims at an area in the fair, as well as pre-register for no-cost legal assistance.

The Goodr Mobile Grocery Store was also on-site to provide free groceries for the veterans that preregistered.
