Man accused of making threat

A Silver Creek man was jailed Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with terroristic threats and acts.

According to the warrant:

46-year-old Danny Eugene Lee threatened to kill a man during a verbal dispute at Craton Road home back on May 8.

The incident was witnessed by another man, who was placing his camper on the property.

Additional charges for suspect in attempted theft

A man arrested earlier this week on charges of criminal attempt to commit theft and criminal trespass is now facing an additional charge of criminal trespass as well as two felony counts of theft by taking.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

39-year-old Christopher Daniel Pruitt took two equipment boxes containing receivers and a monitor for grading equipment from the bed of a truck on McGrady Road on May 5.

The equipment is valued at $30,000.

Meanwhile, Pruitt is also accused of taking a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer, valued at $1,800 from a location on Holland Drive.

Pruitt was originally arrested on May 8 after he and two others were seen on camera in the carport of a home on Old Summerville Road, attempting to commit a theft.

Ohio woman accused of stealing vehicle, other items from Floyd County home

A 50-year-old woman from Batavia, Ohio is accused of stealing a motor vehicle and other items from a home on Glenda Dive back on Mar. 23.

According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:

Sonya Renee Martin towed the 2012 Chevy Cobalt off the property using a vehicle trailer.

She also allegedly took other items belonging to two victims, valued at more than $1,600 each.

Martin is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle and two felony counts of theft by taking.

Woman charged with damaging a vehicle

A 19-year-old woman has been jailed on a felony count of 2nd-degree criminal damage to property following an incident early Friday on Wilson Avenue.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Armani Monette Alexander of Rome squirted paint on a 35-year-old man’s vehicle.

Report: Woman failed to get care for sick dog

A 52-year-old woman turned herself in at the Floyd County Jail Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with aggravated cruelty to animals.

According to the warrant:

Lisa Virginia Thompson failed to provide veterinary care for her dog that was suffering from a tumor.

Man charged with meth trafficking

The execution of a search warrant on Craton Road ended with the arrest of a Silver Creek man on drug charges Thursday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Rome –Floyd Metro Task Force officers charged 50-year-old Robert Brian Holt with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug-related objects.
