FCSO “Most Wanted” in custody

Mason Edward Todd

A man who was listed on the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office’s most wanted list is in custody and facing multiple charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

27-year-old Mason Edward Todd of Aragon is charged with theft by taking for stealing a 4-wheeler from a residence on Johns Drive on May 6.

He then fled while on the ATV when the Georgia State Patrol attempted to stop him on Martha Berry Highway at Highway 140.

He continued north before crashing into a dry creek bed near Highway 156. Todd was tased after he put his hands in his pockets and was then taken into custody.

He is also charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, running a stop sign, misdemeanor obstruction, DUI, reckless driving, and driving on the wrong side of the road.

Todd was also arrested on warrants dating back to late last year and earlier this year.

According to the warrants:

Todd had a white clump of a powdery substance suspected to be fentanyl back on Oct. 4 at Harmony Road and Wax Road in Silver Creek.

Then on Feb. 22, Todd stole a silver necklace, valued at $600, from a business on Martha Berry Highway.

On Apr. 17, Todd was in possession of a stolen Suzuki motorcycle, valued at $18,599.

He is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, felony theft by shoplifting, and theft by receiving a stolen motor vehicle in connection with those incidents.
