The identity of a man killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday in Bartow has been released. 

Bartow County coroner Joel Guyton says 37-year-old Kyle Steeleman of Cartersville died in the accident. 

Previously Reported:

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Friday evening involving a motorcycle and a Kia Optima.

According to the GSP, the wreck occurred at around 6:05 p.m. on Bishop Road west of Oakridge Drive in Cartersville.

A Yamaha motorcycle crossed into the opposite lane of travel and struck the Kia.

The motorcycle then traveled another 25 feet and struck a culvert, ejecting the rider.

The motorcyclist was transported to Cartersville Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
