Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation’s Backyard BBQ Bash presented by Coke and SHAW Industries features BBQ sampling, a car show, live music, inflatables, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and more.

Local backyard BBQ buffs are putting their best chicken and pork recipes to the test.

Top competitors take home cash prizes, cool trophies, and bragging rights for the best barbecue in town, and the overall champion brings home the coveted championship belt.

Gates open at 10 a.m., and parking is five dollars.
