Commissioners will also consider a resolution to authorize the city manager to execute a contract with Verizon to upgrade the in-building radio system for the city’s waterworks and for other purposes.

Proclamations for Georgia Cities Week, Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Crème Victims’ Rights Week are also on the agenda for the meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at Rome City Hall.

During the caucus, which starts at 5 p.m. the commission will hear a presentation from the planning department regarding Myrtle Hill.
