The Georgia State Patrol has reported that a fatal accident took place in Gordon County this morning:

At approximately 8:15 AM, Georgia State Patrol Troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash in Calhoun on Boone Ford Road.

An investigation determined that a black 2006 Lexus was traveling east on Boone Ford Road when it left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and struck a tree.

The driver of the Lexus, an 18-year-old Mason Lane Fuller, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

The Georgia State Patrol stated that these details are preliminary as this crash is still under investigation.
