On Friday morning Atrium Health Floyd President and CEO Kurt Stuenkel held a press conference to discuss new resources that are being delivered to boost access to breast cancer screenings for women in Northwest Georgia.

U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff was also present to speak about how he secured bipartisan support in Congress to help Atrium Health secure a second mobile mammography unit.

This second unit will accompany the upcoming freestanding emergency department in Chattooga County to serve families across Northwest Georgia.
