Wednesday afternoon the community was invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Parks Hoke Park on Hardy Avenue to celebrate recent improvements to the park. The new improvements to the park include a new basketball pavilion with a restroom area, a new event staging area, and more. The upgrades were made to the park with funding from the 2017 SPLOST contribution as well as funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
