A Rome man is accused of pointing a knife at a woman’s face during an argument on Webster Drive back on August 29.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 38-year-old Derick Wayne Mobbs prevented the woman from leaving the house and also pushed her.

Mobbs also gave police a false name and date of birth and then ran from officers.

He is charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement, false imprisonment, battery, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, and giving a false name and date of birth.
