Man arrested for breaking into Floyd College and Career Academy

A 44-year-old Rome man is accused of breaking into the Floyd County College and Career Academy on Tom Poe Drive Monday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Christopher Robert Suits busted out a window to enter the school.

He then dumped out property in the science lab and urinated on the floor before stealing a jacket.

Suits is charged with 2nd-degree burglary, criminal trespass (damage to property), theft by taking government property, and disruption of a public school.
