STAFF REPORTS
Floyd County Commissioners will consider the approval of several components related to the renovation of the 911 Department when they meet Tuesday.
These items were budgeted in 2017 SPLOST, and the request is for the commission to approve of the transfer of the $650,000.00 for the budget line item, and an additional request to approve additional funds in the amount of $221,515.
The funds will pay for a Viper 911 system upgrade, eight new console workstations, labor and materials for new raised computer floors, and cable/coaxial replacement.
The Floyd County Board of Commissioners meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the County Administration Building on East 4th Avenue.
The caucus will begin at 3:30 p.m.
During the caucus, commissioners will hear from Dr. Alfie Meeks, Director of the Center for Economic Development Research, and then go into an executive session to discuss personnel, litigation, and the acquisition of property.
