Georgia gas prices up 15-cents since last week

Georgia gas prices jumped 15-cents a gallon in one week.

Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $3.98 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.

Monday’s state average is 27 cents more than last month and $1.01 more than this time last year.

It now costs motorists $59.70 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline.

According to AAA, crude oil prices remain above $105 a barrel, causing gas prices to rise higher.

Local averages on Monday morning were $3.94 in Floyd County and Chattooga County, $3.95 in Gordon County, $3.97 in Polk County, and $3.98 in Bartow County.
