A 51-year-old Rome man was arrested Tuesday at his Fairhaven Drive residence on charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats and acts.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Maurice Deon Brewster pointed a firearm at the victim, telling her they were both going to die.

Brewster was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
