FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 47-year old Calhoun man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Sunday on a felony warrant charging him with aggravated assault.

According to the warrant, William Troy Anderson Jr. held a box cutter to a woman’s throat during an argument on Carpenter Road and told the victim that he would “slice her open.”

He then grabbed and strangled the victim.

All of this was done in violation of a conditional bond requiring that Anderson not have violent contact with the victim, resulting in an additional charge of aggravated stalking.

Anderson was also charged with simple battery for punching a witness.
