The Rome Board of Education will have a called meeting this afternoon to discuss the process for filling a vacancy on the board.

The meeting will start at 5:30 pm at the Rome City Schools College and Career Academy on Veteran’s Memorial Highway.

The school board will review the letters of interest and decide upon a schedule for interviewing candidates to fill the board seat vacated by the resignation of John Uldrick.
