A 66-year old Rome man was jailed Friday on felony warrants charging him with the sale of methamphetamine.
According to the warrant, Hughlon Ray Matthews sold meth to a cooperating witness during a controlled purchase that was captured on audio and video.
The transactions occurred on March 2 and December 8 of last year at locations on 1st Street and 2nd Street in Rome.
Matthews is also charged with possession of meth with the intent to distribute.
