The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will consider a number of agenda items when they meet today.
Second reading of a timber harvesting ordinance is one of those agenda items.
The commission will also recognize county employees for 10, 15, 20, and 30 years of service.
Members of the Rome-Floyd Fire Department will also receive special recognition.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the County Administration Building located at 12 East 4th Avenue.
The caucus starts at 4:30.
The meetings are open to the public.
Everyone in attendance is asked to follow the latest guidance from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
