Gas prices up again

February 7, 2022–12:50 p.m.

AAA SOUTH

Gas prices continue to rise.

Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $3.24 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.

Monday’s state average is 4 cents more than a week ago, 13 cents more than last month, and 96 cents more than this time last year.

According to AAA, Russia’s intentions toward Ukraine continue to influence higher crude oil prices.

Higher oil prices will likely lead to higher pump prices for Georgia drivers.

Local averages Monday morning were $3.20 in Floyd County, $3.22 in Bartow County, $3.19 in Gordon County, $3.21 in Polk County, and $3.18 in Chattooga County.
