The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office 287(g) Program in conjunction with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, will conduct the 2022 annual steering committee meeting later this month. 

The 287(g) program allows state and local law enforcement to enter into a partnership with ICE in order to receive delegated authority for immigration enforcement within their jurisdictions.

Due to the current COVID 19 CDC precautions, the meeting will be conducted virtually.  This meeting is open to the public.

Those wanting to attend, should contact the 287(g) Program Manager, Derrick Eleazer, at [email protected], and provide your email address no later than February 15, 2022, so that an invitation to the meeting can be emailed to you. 

Please include your email address any questions that you would like to have answered at the Steering Committee Meeting. 

The meeting will start at 10:00 am on February 28th, 2022.
