FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 32-year old Rome woman is accused of entering an automobile on Old Dalton Road and stealing six financial transaction cards, a driver’s license, and a social security card belonging to the victim.

According to Floyd County Jail records, when Victoria Leigh Couey was confronted by police, she stated the vehicle belonged to her and gave the victim’s name when asked for her identification.

Couey is charged with entering an automobile, financial transaction card theft, theft by taking, criminal trespass, and giving a false name or date of birth to law enforcement.
