FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 42-year old homeless man was arrested early Monday following a strong-arm robbery.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Joseph Lee Byrd used force to move a woman while taking $221 from her jacket pocket.

Police made contact with Byrd at a location on Turner McCall Boulevard and found methamphetamine between the seat and center console of his vehicle.

Byrd is charged with robbery, possession of meth, battery, and giving a false name and date of birth to law enforcement.
