The Rome City Commission is expected to adopt the 2022 budgets when they meet Monday night.
Adoption is slated following a public hearing.

Commissioners will also conduct a public hearing for a rezoning request for property on Shorter Avenue.
The owner of the property, which includes the American Legion Post next to the parks and recreation offices, is asking for rezoning from Office Institutional to Community Commercial for a quick service drive-thru coffee shop, and an automotive oil change facility.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Rome City Hall.
During the caucus, which starts at 5, commissioners will get an update on the South Meadows development.
