Three Alabama residents arrested for drug trafficking

Three Alabama residents were arrested on drug trafficking charges during a traffic stop on Alabama Highway at Highway 100 in Floyd County Saturday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 27-year old Amber Nicole Horton and 41-year old Michelle Lynn McCullough, both of Rainsville, along with 35-year old John David Griggs of Fort Payne were found with more than 40 grams of methamphetamine.

A digital scale and syringes were also found in the vehicle.

In addition to trafficking meth, all three were also charged with possession of meth with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug-related objects.

McCullough was additionally charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license.
