Polk County Police arrest three after executing search warrant

On December 9, 2021, in the evening hours, the Polk County Police Department executed a search warrant at a Fairview Road residence in Rockmart in reference to drug activity at the residence.

The search warrant on this residence was a culmination of an extensive investigation conducted by the Uniformed Patrol Division in which they conducted surveillance and also conducted proactive traffic stops pertaining to traffic coming from the house.

Three subjects were taken into custody at the residence without incident:

A 43-year-old Angela Ingram of Rockmart is being charged with Possession of cocaine, possession of amphetamine, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession and use of drug-related objects, tampering with evidence, felony obstruction of law enforcement officers. 

A 51-year-old Luther Henry of Rockmart is being charged with Possession of Meth, Possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug-related objects.

A 61-year-old Anthony Wren of Rockmart is being charged with Possession of meth, possession of tools for commission of a crime, tampering with evidence, and felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer

In a press release, Polk County Police stated “Our agency is committed to combating the possession/sale of illegal narcotics in our community through proactive policing, thorough investigations, and interagency cooperation. “

The Rockmart Police Department, Aragon Police Department, Polk County Animal Control, and Redmond EMS assisted the execution of this search warrant.
