The Floyd County Commission has appointed Pete McDonald and Steve Miller as co-elections supervisors on an interim basis.
Both McDonald and Miller are past chairs of the board of elections and, according to the Rome News-Tribune, they will serve as interim supervisors while the commission works to appoint a new elections board.
That could come as soon as December 14.
Both the Democratic and Republican Parties will each have two representatives on the restructured board.
A fifth member will be a non-partisan chair.
