A Rome woman has been arrested on a felony warrant charging her with trafficking heroin,

According to the warrant, 32-year old Michelle Alesia Bernard was in a room on Shorter Avenue where 162 grams of heroin was found during the execution of a search warrant back on October 20.

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force Officers also recovered synthetic marijuana and digital scales.

Bernard is also charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and possession of drug-related objects.
