Rome Solid Waste Department –

The City of Rome Solid Waste Department would like to announce the upcoming holiday schedule for curbside collections. Solid Waste will be closed on November 25, December 23, December 24, and January 3. 

Provided are the route schedule changes. All items should be placed curbside by 7 a.m. on the scheduled collection day. Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

• Thursday, November 25 route will be collected on Wednesday, November 24. 
• All other routes during the week remain unchanged. 

Christmas Holiday Schedule

• Thursday, December 23 and Friday, December 24 routes will be collected on Wednesday, December 22.
• Yard Cart Service will not be collected on Wednesday, December 22.

New Year’s Day Holiday Schedule

• Monday, January 3 route will be collected on Tuesday, January 4.
• Tuesday, January 4 route will be collected on Wednesday, January 5.
• There are no changes to the Thursday and Friday routes.
