The Rome Police Department –
Rome Police Department will once again be pinning on pink badges during the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
These special badges are a symbol of our solidarity with those in our community and within our department who have battled or are currently battling breast cancer.
Officers will wear pink badges to commemorate October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This is done as part of an effort to urge individuals to get screened early for breast cancer detection and treatment.
