FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

An arrest has been made in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store back on September 8.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 24-year old Matias Ellijaone Evans was arrested at his Leafmore Road residence in Rome Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with armed robbery.

The warrant states that Evans walked into the Citgo at 500 Burnett Ferry Road with the intent to commit a theft with a handgun, or a device with the appearance of a handgun.
