Rome man arrested for multiple counts of aggravated animal cruelty

The suspect that was wanted for causing prolonged physical harm and negligent care to multiple dogs and puppies has been arrested by the Floyd County Sheriffs Office.

According to Floyd County Jail reports, a 53-year-old Timothy Mark Reynolds of an Acorn Road residence was arrested on Tuesday.

Reynolds is being charged with 27 Counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals.

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a man wanted on 28 counts of aggravated animal cruelty.

Timothy Reynolds is accused of maliciously causing prolonged physical harm and negligent care to 28 dogs and puppies.

Unfortunately by the time authorities got involved all of the animals were infected with distemper and had to be humanely put down.
