283 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Floyd County from Friday to Monday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Floyd County did not report any additional deaths over the weekend, remaining at 226 since the start of the pandemic.
On Monday, there were 109 COVID-19 patients at Floyd Medical Center with only 10 unvaccinated.
There were 51 patients on critical respiratory care.
Bartow County did list one confirmed death and 180 positive tests during the same time period.
Gordon County had one death and 90 new cases.
Polk County had 139 new cases and no deaths while Chattooga County had 111 new cases and one death.
Statewide, there were 13,292 confirmed cases from Friday to Monday with 128 confirmed deaths.
