Nine arrested in drug bust on Stevens Street

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers have arrested nine people on drug charges at a home on Stevens Street.

According to Floyd County Jail records, officers located four grams of heroin, packaging materials, spoons, and needles.

More heroin was found in the mailbox.

37-year old Charles Collin Cox of Cartersville, 35-year old Cotey Alan Koehler of Rome, and 34-year old Rebecca Ann Farren were all charged with drug trafficking and other drug-related offenses.

Farren is also facing a tampering with evidence charge after she allegedly tried to flush the drugs down the toilet.

41-year old Brent Jeremy McGaskey Sr., 18-year old Brent Jeremy McGaskey Jr., 41-year old Samantha Diane McGaskey, 34-year old Justin Lee Huston, and 29-year old Antavious Taemon Gibson all of Rome were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of dangerous drugs.
