Floyd County reported 388 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, according to the Tuesday status report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

A total of 13,345 Floyd County residents have now tested positive since the start of the pandemic.

Four more deaths were also reported on Tuesday for a total of 213.

Hospitalizations also increased over the weekend with a combined 203 patients at Floyd and Redmond, which is up from 185 on Friday.
