Rome City Schools –

Masks are now being required at all Rome City elementary schools.

Due to one percent of the students and/or faculty testing positive for COVID-19 during a seven-day period, Anna K. Davie Elementary School moves to phase two of the system’s COVID-19 three-phase plan.

For at least the next two weeks, all faculty, staff, and students will be required to wear masks indoors, and on RCS school buses.

Students will eat ALL meals in the classroom.

And all visitors will be restricted from the school’s campus.

East Central, Elm Street, Main, West Central, and West End are already in phase two.

Students at Armuchee Middle School began virtual learning on Monday after the school surpassed the 5% threshold for positive COVID-19 cases among students and/or staff.

Arnuchee High, Coosa High, and Coosa Middle are under mask mandates this week after passing the 2% mark for confirmed cases.
