Floyd County reports 95 new COVID-19 cases, one death Wednesday

95 more Floyd County residents test positive for COVID-19, according to the Wednesday daily status report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Floyd County is now at 11,617 cases since the start of the pandemic with 1,026 of those cases being reported in the last two weeks.

Another Floyd County resident has died from the virus for a total of 205 since March of last year.

Bartow County reported 163 new cases and one death Wednesday.

Gordon County had 114 new cases, Chattooga County had 18, and Polk County had 41.

Statewide, 7,411 new cases and 90 deaths were reported Wednesday.
