The Floyd County Board of Education will have a called meeting Friday morning.

The board is expected to discuss the school system’s COVID-19 policy during the meeting which begins at 8 a.m. at the central office on Riverside Parkway.

During the week of August 9 through 13, the Floyd County Schools reported 42 COVID-19 cases system-wide.
