A Calhoun man has been charged with tampering with evidence in connection with a deadly shooting in West Rome that occurred back on May 17.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 31-year old Blake Marquese Pugh knowingly damaged or removed evidence, specifically a firearm and other contraband, from the crime scene on Fay Street.

That’s where 26-year old Jasper Jermaine Brewster was found shot to death in the doorway of the home.
