FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A 21-year old Rome man is accused of burglarizing a residence on Sylvan Street.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Micah Kelly Whittington entered the residence through the window and took two firearms, several hundred rounds of 9mm ammunition, a backpack, and a cell phone.
The victim had a video of Whittington entering and leaving the residence.
In addition, when Whittington was arrested at a location on Shorter Avenue for a probation warrant, he was found with one of the firearms and the cell phone.
He is charged with 1st-degree burglary, theft by taking, and theft by receiving stolen property.
